An important work session of the six VELA partners took place from 3 to 8 July 2023 in Alcalá de Henares, Spain.
The University of Alcalá (UAH) excellently organised a 5-day Learning Activity “Empowering VET with Tangible Tools”, which was coordinated by the Lead Partner I.E.R.F.O.P. ONLUS and attende by the rest of the partners, PCX COMPUTERS & INFORMATION SYSTEMS LTD (Cyprus), ORANGE HILL Sp. z o.o (Poland), CENTRUL PENTRU PROMOVAREA INVATARII PERMANENTE TIMISOARA ASOCIATIA (Romania) and PRISM IMPRESA SOCIALE S.R.L (Italy).
21 participants from all the partner countries collaborated, learned to work with the VELA e-learning platform and modules prepared under the intellectual Results 2: Moodle platform: Digital Accessibility to support VET educators in involving people with disabilities in e-learning, evaluate the quality and content of the VELA training material and had a fruitful exchange of views with project partners, which initiated the conduction of alearning community, the “Digital Educators”.
During the entire week-long event, every participant showcased exemplary dedication and enthusiasm. Their collective efforts were not only directed towards providing access to reliable, informative, and personalized educational resources, but also towards fostering an atmosphere of openness, social inclusion, and empathy. Such an environment ensured that every attendee felt valued and included, while simultaneously promoting a deep sense of empathy and understanding towards one another. This immersive experience left a lasting impact on all those involved, truly exemplifying the power of collaboration and cooperation.
