ETE FAROS is pleased to announce our active role in both the development and launch of the SustainEdM, the Sustainable Learning Experience Teaching Manual, a cornerstone resource within the Erasmus+ funded SustainEd project, A Joint Business and Higher Education Initiative for a Greener Future.
As a dedicated partner in this pan-European collaboration, ETE FAROS has directly contributed to the authorship of this manual, alongside esteemed academic and industry experts from across Europe. SustainEdM is designed to empower higher education lecturers with adaptable teaching strategies, comprehensive assessment methods, and flexible learning resources that integrate sustainability and circular economy principles into higher education curricula.
This manual complements the SustainEdX Toolkit, which combines WebQuests and Living Labs to create dynamic, hands-on learning environments. Together, these tools provide an interdisciplinary, challenge-based framework to equip students with essential green skills, fostering their active participation in the green transition and supporting the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Additionally, we are excited to highlight the publication of the latest SustainEd newsletter, which provides valuable updates on the project’s milestones, including the successful development and translation of educational resources across multiple languages, ensuring accessibility and impact throughout Europe.
ETE FAROS remains committed to advancing sustainability education and contributing to the knowledge base that supports educators and students in shaping a more sustainable future. We invite stakeholders, academic institutions, and industry partners to explore the SustainEdM Teaching Manual and the latest project newsletter on the SustainEd platform.
