PCX conducted the Multiplier event with the title: Cybersecurity Bootcamp “Hack the hacker” in Cyprus of the ENCRYPT 4.0 project: Joint Cyber Workforce Development Initiative to Enable The European Industry to Overcome the Shortage of Cybersecurity Professionals in September 2022.
The National Multiplier Event aimed to guide the path into modern cybersecurity professions in the manufacturing sector helping participants engage actively with the three IOs elaborated with the project.
This event was part of a series of national multiplier events organised in each partner country with the main goal to share the outputs developed during the project lifetime and to disseminate them among interested stakeholders.
27 people – executives in manufacturing SMEs, employees from manufacturing SMEs, Vocational students with technical profiles and VET trainers & consultants – participated in the event.
First the Encrypt 4.0 Cyber Risk Audit Matrix (CRAM) was presented to the participants. A practical presentation of the tool was carried out so that the participants could understand in practice its use and its benefits. After that, the Training Labs were presented, and the participants had the opportunity to interact with the ENCRYPT learning environment using their smart devices. Last, the Encrypt 4.0 Documental battery on cyber-attacks was presented, to which a considerable time was devoted due to the interest shown by the participants. More attention was given to the cases developed by PCX, which involved local businesses.
The Multiplier event was successful. The participants showed great interest in the tools presented and especially in the Encrypt 4.0 O3: Documental battery on cyber-attacks that can teach them a lot (as they said).
