The National Multiplier Event of the SoftAware Project, with the title ‘Creating Talents in Software Engineering’ organized by PCX, took place on 15 December 2021 at Larnaca, Cyprus.
This event was the last of a series of national multiplier events organised in each partner country with the main goal to share the outputs developed during the project lifetime and to disseminate them among interested stakeholders.
The event was opened by Mr Yiannos Gregoriou, Founding Partner at PCX.
Mr George Sarris, Director of HostingB2B, followed and analysed the needs of small and medium companies in the field of Software Development. Mr George Sarris welcomed the SoftAware Project as part of the much-needed international effort to work towards the project’s main goal: make sure that Software Development students can cope with the real working conditions within a company after they complete their studies.
The next conference session was coordinated by Mrs Athanasia Saltogianni, who presented the project’s outputs in detail and demonstrated the SoftAware Online Courses on the SoftAware Learning Environment.
The last conference session was the Practical seminar “Development of Software Talents”, corrdinated by Mr Yiannos Gregoriou. He gave the chance to the participants to act like students and lecturers and try to complete the study of a one module from each Online Course.
The Multiplier Event was closed with a cocktail party, where all the participants discussed about the presented outputs and exchanges ideas on how these could become a useful tool for the Cypriot Universities.
