Ten (10) participants attended the meeting from 6 partner organisations and 4 European countries.
The main focus of the 1st Transnational Project Meeting was to present to the partners the main elements of the GRCEssentials project, its objectives, the Intellectual Outputs and the results and also to start the actual implementation of the O1: GRCEssentials Curriculum and O2: GRCEssentials Learning Platform.
Moreover, the Project Management and Implementation, the Financial Management, The Quality Management and the Sustainability Plan were also reviewed, providing information on the project coordination by PCX Computers & Information Systems Ltd and the way the consortium will work in order to achieve the project’s objectives. The first meeting established a future successful cooperation and formed the basis of the work that will be carried out in the next 24 months.
The project
The “GRC Essentials” project, will amalgamate and adapt the concepts of Governance, Risk management and Compliance (GRC), into one concept that will be easy for SMEs and microenterprises to implement in their business and work environment. This concept will make SMEs more ‘efficient, effective and resilient’, because they are likely to be more competitive and more sustainable in the long term, by equipping them with knowledge, employable skills and tools related to GRC.
The Intellectual Outputs of the project will be a combination of learning material, an online learning platform and a specific work-based learning methodology.
Target-groups: SMEs (Owners, Managers, Directors etc.), Employees in SMEs, VET providers/trainers/consultants, Business associations, local/regional/national & EU-wide networks, chambers of commerce and industry, policy & decision makers all over Europe.
